🐾 Leash Manners & Heel Command – Say goodbye to pulling on the leash. Your dog will learn to walk politely by your side, making walks enjoyable and stress-free.

🐾 Impulse Control & Boundaries – We reinforce commands like sit, down, stay, and place, teaching your dog patience and self-control, even around distractions.

🐾 Off-Leash Freedom Without the Fear – Once your dog masters our program, you’ll be able to confidently take them on off-leash hikes, to the park, or on trips—knowing they will stay responsive and under control.

🐾 Behavior Problem-Solving – Whether your dog jumps on guests, barks excessively, or struggles with anxiety, we address and correct unwanted behaviors using fair, balanced training methods.

Expect to encounter distractions ranging from other dogs and their owners to more unique challenges designed to test and reinforce your dog's training. In addition to raw hamburger challenge to test the stay, we bring in our bunnies for the real life come and we go off leash in front of a goat on week 6. To end the program, we hold a picnic that will test all the skills we've built.

We take puppies 5 months and older into the program. There is no dog that is too old to attend!

Can My Family Attend?

We love having family attend and learn so there is consistency across the family. However, we ask that children under 12 stay out of the training area and do not go up to other dogs to say hello. Safety of your littles is important to us!

How Often Is Class Held?

We meet every week for 1.5 hours for 8 consecutive weeks. We offer a Spring and Fall Session each year. We do offer private lessons in our off seasons.

To be honest, We both so looked forward to the class every Thursday night with anticipation. It showed me that Jasper was capable of learning and wanted to under the right circumstances which happened to be under Sarah‘s guidance. Sarah is well organized and the class moves along smoothly, quickly and before you know it is over and we were both sad to have it end. The training helped us bond in an amazing way. My perception was that all participants were exceptionally pleased. No one wanted to miss the class! I would take it again in a heartbeat!

Our 8-week structured course includes weekly group training sessions held in outdoor settings, simulating real-life distractions. We provide all necessary training tools (except a 6-foot leash) and access to our comprehensive video library for at-home reinforcement.

Access to expert dog training advice in Q&A sessions with Sarah before and during class, plus ongoing support via our online forum.
Comprehensive dog training videos on commands and behavior issues to accompany what you learn in class (optional).
Free attendance to future sessions upon graduation to continue your dog’s education.
All essential dog training equipment is provided, except a 6-foot leash which you'll need to bring.
